I bought and use both themes in order to see which one I liked better; however, perhaps you wish to buy only one of them and hope to get the right one for your needs.

What are the key differences between Optimize Press and Profits Theme?
Yes. The displays and button graphics are different. You do end up with different-looking landing pages.
Also, the way you design the landing page is different. Optimize Press is more template-based while Profits Theme offers more easy customization options. For example, in the visual editor of Profits Theme you can view your actual graphics (buttons, icons, etc.), whereas with Optimize Press you use shortcodes. I prefer Profits Theme visual editor operation; however, I like the overall design results of Optimize Press.
Is there a risk-free way to try both Optimize Press and Profits Theme?
Yes. Both Optimize Press and Profits Theme offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Do what I did – and that is buy both. Then build a few landing pages with each theme to see which one you like the most. I had both my first landing pages built and launched in one morning (note that I didn’t do a great deal of customization – but then I seldom do because I like using templates as-is).
At the end of the day, you can read all of these types of posts you like; however, you’ll never truly get a real sense of how these landing page themes operate if you don’t test-drive them yourself.
I plan on keeping both themes because I’ll be doing extensive A/B testing with both themes. Moreover, I hope to update my Optimize Press review and my Profits Theme review with updates as to conversion rates of these landing page themes.
Will I use Optimize Press or Profits Theme more?
I don’t know yet, but I suspect I’ll use Optimize Press more often thatn Profits Theme. That said, I won’t make this final decision until I’ve tested several versions of each landing page theme with a decent amount of traffic.
