Tips for creating a great HVAC business website
1. Create separate pages for your various services
For example, if you offer heat pump installation, create a service page featuring your heat pump installation. The same goes for all your services.
2. Consider separating you commercial and residential services
If you serve both commercial building owners (i.e. property managers) and residential home owners, consider creating separate services pages for each type of customer.
3. Highlight your expertise
If you have extensive experience with any particular type of building such as restaurants, apartment buildings, strip malls, etc. – then create separate web pages highlighting your expertise with these buildings.
4. Publish references and testimonials
If you have reference letters and/or testimonials from past HVAC customers, publish them on your website.
5. Target your locations
If you work in specific towns, cities, and/or states/provinces – be sure to target these locations in your website. There are specific geo-targeting techniques you can deploy. I suggest geo-targeting tips and techniques in the materials in my free small business marketing pack.
6. Place your contact form on every page
Make it too easy for website visitors to contact you. You do this by placing your contact form on every page of your HVAC business website. I like placing my contact forms in the sidebar.
7. Use images of your work
Do you have an before and after images? If so, use them. Create a “portfolio” or “past work” page highlighting some of your HVAC work.
8. Blog regularly
If you’re not a very good writer or don’t have time, hire a writer. When you blog regularly, you add content and can attract more visitors to your website which can result in more business for you.
9. Use videos
Do you have any videos of you doing your job or explaining a job? If so, upload them. They don’t need to be perfect. Prospective customers want to get a glimpse of you to learn more about you.
The wonderful thing about using WordPress themes for your HVAC business website is that you can easily implement all the above tips easily and inexpensively creating an excellent HVAC business website.
Your HVAC business website is a work-in-progress. I’ve yet to “complete” a website for my small businesses. I’m constantly adding, improving, and building them. It’s a ton of fun and can be a tremendous way to get more business.
